Sensible Things to Do

• • Label all boxes.
  • Construct aisles so files and other items are easily identified and accessible.

Delicate and Fragile Items

• • Use furniture drawers for delicate or fragile items, as the drawer walls will protect.
  • Carefully wrap and label each item as “FRAGILE”.
  • ‘Bubble wrap’, ‘packing foam’ or paper are excellent for these purposes.

Lawn and Garden Equipment

• • Drain any fluids prior to storage to avoid corrosive damage.

Avoiding Back Injury

• • Don’t make your packing cases too heavy.
  • Do use the lifting & moving equipment provided.
  • Do bend your legs, not your back when lifting.
