You can either organise your own transport and move your goods in yourself, or organise removalists to do the move for you.
Once onsite, we have a range of trolleys and hand-trucks to help you move your goods from the loading dock to your storage unit.
Yes, we sell a range of strong and sturdy standard packing cartons and tape.
No. You are required to provide your own padlock. That way, you are the only one with access to your storage unit.
The recommended lock shank size is 8mm. Brass padlocks are available for purchase from our office for $10.50 each.
Factors such as the size of your items, the frequency of access, and how your items are placed into the storage unit will impact on the size of storage unit required. A smaller and well-packed storage unit will be cheaper than a larger one that is badly organised.

The standard rental period is one month. Shorter rental periods can be negotiated (pro-rata rental fees will apply) and we generally will refund any unused rent on move-out.
There is no limit on how long your store your items. Your agreement is extended on a monthly basis until you give us 7 days notice to vacate.
You are required to pay for your storage monthly in advance, meaning your first month’s rent is payable the day you move your goods into storage.

As long as you pay your storage account on time, there are no additional costs such as booking or administration fees.
Your goods are not automatically insured whilst they are in storage. Whilst we take every reasonable precaution to protect your goods, we are not liable for any loss or damage to stored property.
We do offer self storage insurance through Midland Insurance – please ask us for a brochure or quote.
Items you should never store in any storage facility include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Live animals and plants
- Liquids
- Explosives
- Firearms
- Flammable liquids and fuels (including gas bottles, solvents and mower fuel)
- Toxic materials
- Perishables and food items
- Illegal or stolen items
